Paul
Mauchline, Managing Director
Paul Mauchline is a writer, lecturer, and expert on love and
relationships. Mr. Mauchline grew up in Canada and has traveled
throughout the world. An entrepreneur from age ten, he has owned
and operated many successful companies in North America over
the past three decades.
In 1995 Mr. Mauchline chose to leave his successful accounting
and consulting practice and focus his energies full-time on
the vision he wished to share with world, The Art of Loving.
He then moved to the island of Providenciales in The Turks &
Caicos Islands, a place that he had visited repeatedly throughout
the previous decade. It is from this location that Mr. Mauchline
has continued researching, writing, and sharing his message
on love and relationships. Today his vision is now a reality
in the form of articles published worldwide, lectures, workshops,
and this website. His expert advice and written material are
featured on many websites around the world.
On January
01, 2002, Mr. Mauchline moved the The Art of Loving to the Jewel
of Central America, Costa Rica. It is from this location that
he continues to deliver his mesage to the world of the importance
of love..

Leslie Karen Lobell, M.A., Associate
Leslie is a therapist living and practicing in Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands, British West Indies. She counsels adults, youth, couples, and families regarding personal, relationship, and career issues. She also conducts workshops on meditation, dream interpretation, and various topics related to personal growth.
Articles by Ms. Lobell have been published internationally in newspapers, magazines, and on websites. Leslie Lobell grew up in the United States. She has traveled extensively throughout North America, Western Europe, and the Caribbean, and has lived for brief periods in both Greece and France. In 1986, she graduated Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Dartmouth College. From 1988 till 1992, she worked for the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Pennsylvania, as a research assistant in obesity research and as a psychology technician in addictions research. Ms. Lobell earned a Masters degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Maryland, where she completed the coursework in their top rated doctoral program with a perfect 4.0 average and passed her comprehensive exams with honors. In 1994, she presented her Masters Thesis research in York, England at an international meeting of the Society for Psychotherapy Research; the results of this study on insight gained from dream interpretation also were published in an article in the Journal of Counseling Psychology. Having done workshops, retreats, and training with The Pathways Institute in Washington, D.C. and San Francisco, CA, Ms. Lobell brings to The Art of Loving Institute her extensive experience as a facilitator of personal growth workshops. Fondly dubbed "the singing therapist," Ms. Lobell is passionate about her favorite hobby: the performing arts.
